Ted Reedy, Lyric Tenor

 

Ted is excited to be back in Colorado performing and teaching. He recently finished a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance at Brigham Young University and is currently working on a Professional Certificate degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He is also a member of the Opera Theater Singers at the University of Colorado. OTS is an outreach group of talented opera singers from the University that perform regularly throughout the year. Ted received his bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado where after he taught choral music in the public schools for 4 years. Teachers he has studied with include Joel Burcham, Darrell Babidge, Trish McCaffrey, Beth Clayton, Charmaine Coppom, Lawrence Vincent, and Arden Hopkin. Ted is an emerging tenor in the opera world and recently performed in the Loveland Opera Theater 5 Star Gala as one of the 5 Stars! Recent roles performed include Judah in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Hoffman in Les contes d’Hoffman, Mr. Angel in the Impresario, Dean in All Shook Up, and Masetto in Don Giovanni.
